Just wanted to touch base, first to say thank you to everyone at Pontiac READS for making LEXIA available to us, and to supporting us with research, tools and the all-important celebratory moments for our kids in marking their milestone achievements in the program. Seriously - being able to tell the kids that a representative from Pontiac READS would come to award them their certificates? We got several kids over the finish line by promising them that their work would be acknowledged. Thank you for being there for them in a way that mattered so much.

"Being a member of the Pontiac United Education Coalition has been an invaluable experience. Each week, I have the opportunity to engage with both community and district leaders, staying informed on district updates and professional learning priorities. The coalition provides a unique space where I hear firsthand the questions, needs, and concerns of our local education leaders. When the group identified attendance and chronic absenteeism as a shared concern, we collaboratively took the first step by engaging in professional learning with Attendance Works. This collective approach has helped me, as a consultant, be more intentional about the types of professional learning I offer and the insights I bring to my colleagues and leadership. I’m truly grateful that PUEC fosters a space where collaboration drives meaningful support for our community."
